The Wordpress blank screen of Death

Hosting your own blog may lead to some major complications, such as accidentally deleting the whole thing while trying to upgrade. Well, well…

At first, it all worked just fine. Then, after a few necessary alterations with themes and plugins, it fell victim to the infamous “Wordpress blank screen of death”.

Looks like  foundling with MySQL, untar`s and backups (+ editing PHP-files in wordpad which was NOT a good idea!) have lead to an early death of One step behind. Still, there might be some blog-recovery solution for reckless armatures like my self…

At least the images seems to be cached, looks like there is going to be some long days of reconstruction. (If not some smart web-host  suport person is able to fix my mess!! Fingers crossed…)

Only time will tell if my dear old blog have survived.

*Note to self: If you don’t know what you are doing, don’t do it.
